Project Idea: A Simple Driving Simulator

Phase 1:

Given map data of a road (long enough) in GeoJson, which is a real road in a city, present a Web UI with map, and the road highlighted, a vehicle (marker) initially stop at road start, initially speed 0. There is a control (button) “Start”. When click button, the vehicle started to move along the road at a certain speed (50 km/h) visually. While it is moving, a (lat, lon, speed) tuple should be reported at a specific interval (every 5 seconds).

Phase 2:

Vehicle speed could be adjusted.

Phase 3:

Given a road network, there should be a way to control the vehicle turn at intersection and change route.
